In one of the poorest regions of the province of Yunnan (south-west of China), many of the mountain villages, often above 9000 ft, have no school.

As no child who does not know how to read and write can pretend to ever receive any higher education, we have found it important and useful to participate in the financing of some schools in particularly remote areas.

Two of the projects were done in cooperation with the LIONS CLUB INTERNATIONAL - Allagnon Val d'Allier in France.

The two other projects were financed privately.

Dans une des régions les plus pauvres de la province du Yunnan (sud-ouest de la Chine), de nombreux villages situés souvent à plus de 3000 mètres, n'ont pas d'école.

Etant donné qu'un enfant n'ayant pas appris à lire et à écrire ne peut prétendre à une éducation plus avancée, nous avons jugé important et utile d'aider au financement de certaines écoles particulièrement isolées.

Les deux autres projets ont fait l'objet de finacement privé.
